Andy Proehl has compiled a collection of “Maps of Strange Borders” on his flickr account.
His maps are accompanied by description and historical accounts on the reason behind the border are laid that way.
Though most of the maps feature strange borders within United States, the most interesting one lies on the other part of the world.
