The current HIM (Hildon Input Method) used in Ubuntu Mobile Edition doesn’t seem to support Mozilla Firefox just yet. Feel free to experiment with Hildon desktop on Gutsy Gibbon – Procedure to have the Hildon Desktop running on Gutsy
p/s: btw, Hildon is an application framework specifically designed for Mobile and Embedded devices. It is the same framework which has been used in Nokia 770 and N800 internet tablets.
