KDE 3.5 has been released on November 29, 2005. I bet that some people are trying to get their hands on the new desktop environment.
I’ve found a nice tutorial that helps Ubuntu Breezy 5.10 user install KDE 3.5 painlessly
OK, here it goes :
Login as root and run the following commands from the console
wget http://people.ubuntu.com/~jriddell/kubuntu-packages-jriddell-key.gpg
apt-key add kubuntu-packages-jriddell-key.gpg
Add the following lines to /etc/apt/sources.list
# Ubuntu 5.10 KDE 3.5 Repository
deb http://kubuntu.org/packages/kde35 breezy main
Run the following commands
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
