Secure your WordPress installation now, avoid from being compromised

Following recent announcement from Technorati about WordPress security vulnerability issue and the fact that there are a lot of WordPress sites that has been compromised. It is recommended those who are running WordPress blog to upgrade and tightens their WordPress site security to prevent it from being injected with malicious or spammy code.

Here are few pointers that might help you secure your WordPress installation to prevent it from being cracked into :

Remember you will be responsible for all the damage caused by the crackers should your site been cracked into

Google Maps Now Available in hometown – Alor Setar!

I just discovered today that Google (street) maps is now available for my hometown – Alor Star! Upon checking further I discovered that the street level maps is also available for various other places in the northern part of Malaysia too, including remote areas in Perlias and Kedah, w00t.

Check this feature in Google Maps now!

Now I can relate more stuff from my Dopod P800W to Google Maps and vice versa

robots.txt – Uncrawlable code.google.com ?

I found this thing by accident when I tried to search for my project hosted on Google Code Hosting service website.

Does Google intentionally block other web crawler from indexing Google Code site? or was it a glitch?
