After the introduction of SpyMy.com, now comes LinuxFilter, a news website that uses the concept of news voting by the internet users.
The basic operation of this website is the same as digg.com in which users will decide which story will be published at the frontpage through a voting system. Though it is named “Linux”, LinuxFilter does accept other news category as well such as PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Lua and various other topic which mostly related to computing and FOSS.
As for the uninitiated, you can participate by registering yourself in LinuxFilter website, and submit your news for users review. You can also help by reviewing other people’ news and rate it. The reviews and voting will determined if the story will be published in the front page.
Happy submitting !
