ThinkAll free software CDs, becareful with them

Think All Publishing LL is one of many companies that make profits from distributing free CDs around the world.

If you ever gone to ThinkAll website or clicked on one of their advertisement, chances that you will get to order Free CD (4 to be exact) offer from them with minimal shipping cost (USD 2.95 or so).

Be warned, think twice before you request any Free CDs from them, because there’s a sleazy clause in their Terms of Use gave them permission to charge your credit card with USD21.95 each for 2 CD (the other two is given free).

Another thing that may suprised you is that you’re automatically ‘subscribed’ to their monthly 4 CD offer which you will be charged USD41.90 per month. So becarefull when dealing with Think All.

Should you’ve already ordered the “free” CD from Think All, the best you can do is to cancel your subscription by going to http://www.thinkall.com/freeCD.htm (which is randomly changed according to some) to avoid being billed further by the company.

You could also call their (carefully hidden) customer support line at +1800 4628 144 or +1902 462 6085 to cancel your free cds. Remember, think twice before ordering CDs from Thinkall.com

  3. SO SAD to see that there are so many scammed by these people, just as I was scammed. They charged $54.90 to my credit card…. and I had actually reached someone to cancel the cd’s, and returned them via mail as requested!! I must add that after I discovered the unathorized charge to my account, I called ThinkAll; the person I reached by phone was not only hateful to me, but told me that no one else was there that could help me, including attorneys whom I had requested to speak with, and that they would ONLY communicate with me through email.
    RIDICULOUS!!
Call your banks/credit companies and warn them of future charges, so you don’t pay the price for this fraud. REPORT THEM!

  4. G/day, I very nearly got caught by ThinkAll.I stopped when they wanted my card details, I’m glad that I did now reading all above. First thing, stop payment on your card, they can’t get anything then, and or cancel the card.

I would like to return the 2 CD’s out of the 4 which I only received yestarday, but have no clue where to send them back. Does any know?
I will notify the credit card company of this scam, and advise them not to accept any further charges from these thiefs. I will use this blog or any other blog as supporting documentation of this robery.

  14. Has anyone been able to access their website recently. I have notr been able to cancel. Anyone who can help. I am in England and the 800 number won’t work

  15. I have been taken in by this scam, partly because I saw the link as a Google Ad while using Gmail and thought it was a legitimate business.

The four CDs that they sent, at my cost for delivery, were all available for free download in the Internet. The amount of data on the CDs was relatively small.

As soon as I discovered that the deal is a scam, I went to the web site http://www.thinkall.com/freeCD.html which referred me to a secure web page at https://www.thinkall.com/cancelsubscription.php – which you cannot find by browsing their web site, only by following directions on the CD cover thatthey send you – and cancelled my ‘subscription’ which I would never have subscribed to if presented honestly up-front. Instead, it is burried deep inside their “Terms of Use” page, reference at the bottom right of their web pages.

It cost me more than the four CDs are worth to send back the two ‘trial’ CDs but I had to incur this expense in order to comply with their conditions or risk having my credit card debited with the extraordiarily high fee of $24.95 USD each [For freely available data]!

Truly this site is a SCAM.

  16. They are the biggest scam artist in the world. I have disputed the charges on my credit card, called them to cancel and am glad to see posts on them. They advertise on PC Magazine’s website as a “sponsered link” and PC Mag did an article on what a great deal it is. I have emailed them and plan to boycott their advocating scammers!

  17. mrzali: yes i almost believe them, but when i did a search through the internet, it did reveal that ThinkAll.com is a professional scammers, they did not reveal their identity on domain whois too.
