About Mypapit GNU/Linux Blog

This blog has been created by me as a place where I can share my view and idea to others outside there. It was previously hosted on blogger.com before it was hosted on my private hosting space. I’ve posted the first message in the blog on 13 April, 2005.

About Me

My name is Mohammad Hafiz bin Ismail, and I assumed the nickname Mypapit or papit while on the internet. I’ve graduated from University of Technology Malaysia in BSc (Hons) Computer Science. Before that, I went to MRSM Beseri, Perlis and took my SPM (GCE O Level equivalent) there. I enjoys reading computer related material and believes in ‘recreational programming’. My main website that list several of my project is at http://mypapit.net

I mainly use Debian GNU/Linux for my day-to-day work. Currently I have Pentium 4 1.7GHz as my main workstation with 768MB RAM. There’s a photo gallery section here if you wonders how my desktop/workstation looks like. The photo section include several other photos meant for public consumptions.

Colophon

The photo on the header of this blog was shot by Nikon Coolpix E5200 camera. It features “Menara Alor Setar” which is one of the prominent landmark in Alor Star and Al-Bukhary Mosque in Jalan Langgar. The location of the shot was Taman Rajawali Indah in Alor Star, Kedah, Malaysia.
