I am trying to follow your instructions for getting on the internet with dial-up using Ubuntu.

The first thing you said to go was
"First go to System->administration ->Netwok, when a dialog appear, click Unlock, enter password."

I find no Network to click on only "Network Tools". Sure could use some more help. Thanks

How do you get Ubuntu to recognize a modem? I just installed the newest Ubuntu os, but it did not recognize my Coxenant 56k modem. I've ordered a new modem that Linux is supposed to recognize? I'll see if it works? In the meantime, are their any suggestions out there?
Thanks!
