talkback is a non-free software licensed to Mozilla from SupportSoft. ref: http://www.mozilla.org/quality/qfa.html

An alternative to talkback crash reporter that is free and open source is being developed by Mozilla (called 'airbag'), it is going to be released under the new BSD license.

I'm not aware of the proprietary component (talkback crash reporting) in FF but I think you should be carefull to not (unintentionally) spread FUD that FF includes some non-free component. AFAIK, the problem with Debian-Mozilla Foundation is the trademarked name Firefox. Debian includes a patch to the FF source without applying permission from Mozilla Foundation thus violated the use of the trademarked name. This is how trademark work, nothing wrong with it. Whenever you own a trademark, you have to enforce it or it became useless. You may modify my code (without permission) but if you did, please call it something else when you want to distribute it since I own the name.
