Today in history – tsunami 2004
I’ve read my daily subscription of “This Day in History”, this time it mentioned about tsunami that hit Southeast Asia including part of Penang, Kedah, Phuket and Acheh. It was the most devastating event of that year, the tsunami has cost many lives and places which has been struck by it are still recovering.
I remembered the event, as my daily routine was interrupted something that can be described as “unusual shaking”, almost felt like I was on a boat or a ship. The pictures on the wall are moving, and people claiming that the earth is moving, it’s an earthquake, and that’s around 10-11am, and i was shocked to learn the news of the big tidal wave that hit Penang and Kuala Muda. It could be frightening to think about what the forces of nature can do to you.
